Most die-hard cupcake lovers cannot resist the allure of a moist, sugary cupcake. But if you need a reason to feel less guilty for indulging, visit your local Crumbs Bake Shop. The sweet treats bakery recently announced its partnership with Success For Kids (SFK), a nonprofit organization that develops learning programs for at-risk students. In seven different countries, SFK helps develop self-esteem in students from grades 3 to 5 who are navigating difficult social issues like classroom learning and poverty.

The whole thing must have hit a sweet spot in Crumbs. A portion of the proceeds from the popular bakery’s “Good Guy” cupcake will benefit SFK programs. And in case you didn’t know, the “Good Guy” is a buttercream-filled vanilla cake concoction with cream cheese frosting, a blast of rainbow sprinkles, and white chocolate drizzle (hey, if you’re gonna go sweet, you might as well get a sugar high). I love that it reminds me of a Mister Softee ice cream cone, which is probably one of the best dessert creations – ever.

Treat yourself (and a friend) to a “Good Guy” cupcake for $4.50 each at one of Crumbs’ 35+ locations. Orders are also available online for delivery within the 48 contiguous states.
