It’s holiday time! That’s means we’re all scrambling to come up with perfect gift ideas while we check off our list this year. Usually charity and gift-giving would fall into two seperate categories, and while many of us want to give back over the holidays, work, life, and family tend to take up most of our time.

But if you’re committed to doing what you can, plenty of websites have sprung up lately that can help you purchase great gifts and donate to charity. This is such an awesome idea for office gifts and pollyannas, as it can add a little meaning to an otherwise last-minute purchase.

Social Goodies

Two websites that I’ve come across recently are and Sevenly creates and sells custom t-shirts that benefit a new social cause each week. For every shirt sold, Sevenly donates $7 to a cause. The shirts, which cost $22 a piece, are designed within Sevely’s own artist network. Causes range everywhere from the National Breast Cancer Foundation to Pencils of Promise.

Social Goodies is a daily deals site that allows you to shop at select retailers for a discount, and donate a part of your sale to charity. When you buy a shopping voucher on Social Goodies, you’ll get a credit towards an online purchase that will benefit a pre-chosen charity.I recently saw this deal for 50% off adorable lingerie at Ladymate (so cute!)

Happy holidays and happy shopping!
